Winterize My Home is operated by Shi Shi, an individual in the People’s Republic of China.

Current questionnaire and server requests

You can use the questionnaire and limited preview without an account. Your selected answers are sent to our server to calculate the personalized preview and its project and Action counts. Purchasing and customer accounts are not yet available.

There is currently no customer account or server-saved plan. Website requests may still appear in operational logs.

Storage on your device

Your questionnaire answers, completion status and any retained saved profile from an earlier version are stored in your browser's localStorage. The demonstration also uses sessionStorage for temporary demo access. These values do not verify a purchase or sign you in. They are specific to your browser and do not currently synchronize across devices.

You can use “Clear my saved profile & start over” to remove the application's saved profile and retained legacy browser keys, or clear the site's storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser storage does not delete support correspondence or infrastructure logs.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

The current application code does not set authentication or advertising cookies, integrate analytics or tracking services, or use third-party payment or login services. Browser localStorage and sessionStorage are used as described above. Hosting infrastructure may also process request information as described below.

Hosting, operational information and support

A server handling website requests receives technical information such as the requested URL and network connection information. A hosting service may retain operational logs such as request times, status codes and IP addresses under its configuration and policies. Hosting providers process technical information to deliver and protect the site.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. Mail delivery involves the services used by you and by our support mailbox. Do not send passwords, login links, session tokens, payment-card details or unnecessary information about your home.

Support email retention

We retain support emails only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, resolve customer issues, handle payment or refund disputes, maintain necessary business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Messages that are no longer needed will be deleted. We do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion schedule.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting support@winterizemyhome.com, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

Planned commercial practices — not yet operational

Planned account and payment features will use your email address, account details, purchase records and records of paid access, together with your current questionnaire answers and plan. Verified email sign-in will support access across devices. Only the current plan will be retained; if an update fails, the previous valid plan will remain available. These features are not yet available.

Limited technical records may be needed to resolve access, payment and plan-update problems. Before these features launch, this policy will be updated with the selected service providers, information collected and shared, retention and deletion practices, account-cookie details and applicable privacy rights.

Privacy questions and requests

Email support@winterizemyhome.com with privacy questions or requests about your information. Requests are handled by email; there is currently no account-deletion tool. Identity verification may be needed before personal records can be disclosed. Any future account-retention and deletion practices will be disclosed before account services launch. This policy does not limit rights available under applicable law.
